PCoIP Technology
Frame One uses PCoIP technology to erase lines between personal computers and remote workstations. It's secure, highly responsive, and adaptive. Do you use multiple monitors? PCoIP matches them 1:1. Want to record scratch V.O.? You may optionally connect your personal computer microphone to your workstation for recording purposes. Occasionally on the move? Your workstation adapts to new monitor configurations immediately thanks to PCoIP technology.
Private Internet Infrastructure
Ever mount a hard drive from another continent? Our private fiber expands what's possible in post-production. Our NYC, Los Angeles, and London data centers are securely and directly linked for unbeatable data interoperability. We're developing tools like Smart Routing that optimize to your local conditions every time you connect.
Built to Play Shared Storage
Collaborative post-production is easier on shared storage, and Frame One's custom storage is the easiest to use. If you're connected to your remote workstation, your shared storage is already mounted. Every project starts with 25 TB of shared storage for media, plus project storage and a Media Shuttle. Data is automatically redundant and additional space may be rented as needed. Easy, dependable, and fast. Frame One shared storage is as simple as that.
Signiant Media Shuttle
Need to get data on or off of your workstations quickly? A 5 TB Media Shuttle is included while each project edits on Frame One. Signiant's patented app allows for uploading and downloading at rates faster than regular web browsers alone. By default, assistant editors administer your Media Shuttle. They have direct access to it on their workstations as well as the web. Admins may also request files from other editors or external teams from the web and permit write-only access to the drive to supercharge their ingest workflows.
